Canadian Women's Foundation Breakfasts

“The world’s most prominent male feminist.” -The Guardian

For the first time in its 25 year history, the Canadian Women’s Foundation has invited a male speaker to deliver the keynote address at our two exclusive breakfast events.

Why?

Our long-term goal is to create GEN1—the first generation to experience gender equality in Canada! In order to achieve this goal all genders must work together.

We are very pleased to announce our keynote speaker for the 2016 Canadian Women’s Foundation Breakfasts will be Michael Kimmel, bestselling author and SUNY Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Gender Studies at Stony Brook University. He has been advocating for gender equality for over 30 years and is one of the world’s leading experts on masculinity.

This October, we invite you to join us as Michael Kimmel shares his findings on the impacts of hyper-masculinity and how gender equality is good for everyone—men included.
