Aimee’s untimely death as a victim of domestic violence has robbed her family of a daughter, a sister, an aunt; her friends of her friendship; her teammates of her enthusiasm and the volleyball community of a dedicated coach, player and organizer. Her dedication and passion to her sport has prompted us to organize this charity tournament in her memory and to donate all proceeds to the Canadian Women’s Foundation.

In the workshops, girls are empowered to think critically about gender stereotypes, challenge sexist media messages, and identify their own strengths. Then they brainstorm positive messages that they're proud to wear, and create their own t-shirts!

Hustle 'n' Flow Fundraising Workout

Resilience Fitness presents Hustle 'n' Flow, a unique 75-minute group workout sponsored by Lululemon. This event supports the Canadian Women's Foundation's work to end sex trafficking. Donation: $5 minimum.


The workout starts with 45 minutes of Hustle, a high-energy strength and conditioning class, followed by 30 minutes of Flow, a slow, fluid yoga class. The workout will be held rain or shine at Monarch Park Stadium, 1 Parkmount Rd., Toronto. Please note: Doors open at 4:00 p.m.; class to start at 4:30 p.m. Bring your own yoga mat.
