Erin Burgess, Manager of Special Events, the Canadian Women’s Foundation. Erin brings over 10 years of logistical expertise and superior planning skills to the Foundation. She oversees the Foundation’s events across the country and is responsible for managing their signature fundraising Breakfasts which take place in Toronto and Calgary. Erin is proud to have worked with amazing advocates for women and girls like Gloria Steinem, Geena Davis, Michele Landsberg, Arlene Dickinson, and Sally Armstrong to name a few.
There are hundreds of people in the room, but you can hear a pin drop. There are standing ovations. There are tears of sorrow and joy.
These are some of the unforgettable moments that audiences experience at each Canadian Women’s Foundation Breakfast. It’s the Foundation’s signature fundraising event and, as the Manager of Special Events, I’ve been privileged to run it for the past 12 years.
