Caroline Jacquet is a community organizer and has been a project manager at the Fédération des femmes du Québec since September, 2016. She has organized in student, feminist and labour union milieus in Montreal, including as part of her student association, as part of the Syndicat des étudiants et étudiantes employées de l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and as part of feminist collectives. She also holds a Doctorate in Political Science from UQAM and was awarded the Bélanger-Andrew prize for best French-language thesis in Political Science. Her thesis examines feminist representations of secularism and religion in Quebec (1960-2013) from an anti-racist feminist perspective. She has also taught feminist studies and political science and published a variety of articles in academic journals and other media platforms.
