Corinne Ofstie has a degree in Arts and Social Work from the University of Calgary and she joined the human services workforce as the Coordinator for the Calgary Domestic Violence Collective (CDVC). In 2014, Corinne transitioned to her role with the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services (AASAS). In her role, Corinne supports the AASAS Chief Executive Officer to achieve the goals and objectives of special projects as outlined in the AASAS Strategic Plan. Among her achievements Corinne has led the growth, development and evaluation of a provincial training program, First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training; coordinated provincial data collection and outcome measurement practices and database support; and led the growth and development of AASAS communication strategies.  Currently Corinne is AASAS’ project coordinator for a Status of Women Canada funded project, Improving and Enhancing the Criminal Justice Response to Adult Survivors of Sexual Assault. Corinne is a registered social worker with experience working with community, system and government organizations in both Sexual and Domestic Violence sectors as a cross-sector coordinator. Corinne is a trained facilitator of First Responders to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training.
