Why does your company support the Foundation?

For more than 10 years, we have supported the Canadian Women’s Foundation’s work to provide women the skills and services they need to move out of poverty. It’s a cause that’s aligned with our business, and a great opportunity for employees and customers to give back.

Platinum Partners

Winners and HomeSense have been one of our largest national partners for over a decade. The funds they raise through in-store campaigns, employee fundraising and corporate giving play a crucial role in our work to end violence against women. With their help, we are able to give funding to violence prevention programs and emergency women’s shelters from coast to coast.

National Corporate Partners

CIBC has a long-standing commitment to support programs that help women who are living on a low income to move out of poverty. CIBC has also proudly supported the Canadian Women’s Foundation Leadership Institute, which builds the leadership capacity of women working in the nonprofit sector across the country.

P&G and “Always” proudly support the Canadian Women’s Foundation Girls’ Fund. Their contribution goes toward programs that encourage girls to participate in sports and physical activity, explore science and technology, develop critical-thinking skills, and take on leadership in a supportive all-girl environment.

Royal LePage real estate agents and their clients are working to create safer homes and safer communities by raising funds to help women and children who have experienced violence. This is done through donations of commissions on the sale of homes, and participation in local and national fundraising events. Funds donated to the Canadian Women’s Foundation are used to support violence prevention programs from coast to coast.

TD Bank Group is our National Partner for Indigenous Communities and supports all our areas of work with Indigenous women and girls. Their investment serves women and girls who face the highest risks and who live in communities, including remote northern areas, with few social services.
