Khanh is an ambitious marketer, steadfast champion of female empowerment, and a raving fan of sport, doing it all with an infectious smile. Currently overseeing the marketing and branding portfolio of Ontario Soccer, Khanh hopes to dedicate more time towards Ontario Soccer’s leading programming in the advancement of female coaches and match officials. Khanh’s affinity for the support and empowerment of girls and women in sport has been engrained in every role she’s possessed but has especially flourished during two past roles. When Hockey Canada hosted a monumental 2013 IIHF Women’s World Ice Hockey Championship and Canada Soccer held a record-setting FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015, Khanh was fortunate enough to play a marketing and community outreach role on both organizing committees. The world’s largest competitions for women’s hockey and soccer respectively, both events were hallmark cases of what hosting international women’s sporting events can do for young girls and women in Canada. As the ultimate symbol of aspiration, successful events of this nature have shown Khanh firsthand the value of authentic and strategic grassroots partnerships with community groups that similarly value female empowerment.
