As Development Officer with UQAM’s Community Services, Ms. Lyne Kurtzman is also at the head of the Protocole UQAM/Relais-femmes. Ms. Kurtzman has more than 28 years of professional experience in feminist studies in areas such as ethical issues in action research and partnership research, gender-based analysis and intersectionality. She has contributed to the publication of several academic articles and has offered various conferences and training in the field. As head of research development at UQAM’s Institut de recherches et d’études feministes from 2000 to 2009, she also organized several national and international academic events (symposiums, seminars, conferences and public meetings). As Coordinator of the Protocole UQAM/Relais-femmes, Ms. Kurtzman will use her vast experience to help identify promising formal collaboration practices to be put in place between the academic institutions and women’s groups.
