COVID-19: How Your Support Helps Women and Girls During the Pandemic

Event: Robyn Doolittle discusses her latest book, Had it Coming

This is a conversation you won’t want to miss! Join us to hear investigative journalist Robyn Doolittle share insights from her 2019 book, Had it Coming: What’s Fair in the Age of #MeToo, on October 28, 2019.

This book picks up where Unfounded, Robyn’s investigative series in The Globe & Mail, left off. Had it Coming is a nuanced and informed analysis of changes to attitudes about sexual violence in the wake of the #MeToo Movement and what still needs to change.

Robyn’s presentation will be followed by a discussion with Anuradha Dugal, Director of Community Initiatives and Policy at the Canadian Women’s Foundation. The discussion will focus on what it means to grassroots organizations challenging gender-based violence when hidden stories come to light. Seating is limited, so get your tickets early!
