We partner with companies that champion gender equality

By partnering with the Canadian Women’s Foundation, companies can help move gender equity in Canada forward by investing in impactful programs across the country. Together we will work to develop a customized plan that drives engagement and aligns with your DEI and ESG goals.

There are many ways to partner with us. You can choose to support all of the Foundation’s areas of impact, or you may choose to support a specific campaign or area of impact that aligns with your specific objectives. Together we will work with you to develop a customized plan that drives engagement and impact for women, girls, and gender-diverse people.

Year-Round Campaign

Theme: Signal for Help, Gender-based violence

Area of Impact: Gender-based violence

In 2020, we created the Signal for Help, a one-handed gesture to silently show you need help. The Signal has since evolved into a universal “SOS” for gender-based violence. In 2021, we launched the Signal for Help Responder Campaign to help people learn how to support a friend, family member, or colleague who is experiencing abuse.

Your workplace can help end gender-based violence, engage employees, and build workplace support and safety by joining the 50,000 people across Canada who have become Signal for Help Responders.

The Canadian Women’s Foundation has developed tools for employees at all levels, including managers and leaders, human resources professionals, health and safety committees, and wellness teams.

Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to the Signal for Help and other signs of gender-based violence, different forms that abuse and violence can take, how to refer peers at work to helpful services in situations of abuse, what more you can do to be a positive changemaker at work and in your communities.
