She pursued her interests in international relations and women’s studies by obtaining a bachelor’s degree, majoring in political science at the Université de Moncton. She continued her studies at University of King’s College where she received a post-baccalaureate one-year Bachelor of Journalism. Rachel currently serves on the board of the Common Front for Social Justice and the Frye Festival.
