A Message from Paulette Senior

Dear partners, supporters, and friends,

With excitement mixed with sadness, I would like to announce that I have been appointed as a new Senator to the Senate of Canada.

To say this was a difficult decision to make is an understatement.

Steering the Canadian Women’s Foundation alongside you, the most wonderful supporters for gender justice and equality, and alongside an amazing team of movers and shakers, has been my dream job.

I’m proud of what we have accomplished together: millions of dollars invested in community programs in every province and territory, systemic improvements to bolster gender equality, and renewed commitments for a gender equal Canada.

Rest assured that the Canadian Women’s Foundation is in capable hands and will continue striving in the right direction, steadfast and bold.

I can’t predict what’s ahead, but I am deeply honoured to be chosen for this appointment. I look forward to contributing in new ways to build a better Canada for all.
