This national project helps lawyers and non-governmental organizations address and prevent the sex-trafficking of women and girls in Canada who are not Canadian citizens. It aims to build the capacity of organizations to respond to survivors’ needs, to strengthen advocacy efforts, and to eliminate systemic gaps so that these survivors don’t fall through the cracks.
Grant amount: $250,000 over 5 years
