Announcing the launch of Women Founders Investment Preparedness Program, on Canada Innovates, a national platform dedicated to fostering innovation and driving economic growth, in partnership with the Canadian Women’s Foundation
Canada Innovates is proud to work with the Canadian Women’s Foundation to host Women Founders Investment Preparedness program in support of women, gender diverse founders and social purpose organizations navigating preparing for social investment.
The Canadian Women’s Foundation supports social purpose organizations led-by and serving women, girls and non-binary people to become prepared to take on investment and access the new Social Finance Fund and expand the role of social finance in the women’s sector.
Women Founders Investment Preparedness Program focuses on supporting women and gender-diverse individuals with entrepreneurial and business skills to start and grow a successful venture.
The Foundation will provide access to mentorship, expertise on investment preparedness, and an investor partner network to support participants’ business growth and fundraising goals. The Foundation’s history of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as the growth of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, helps women develop greater economic prosperity.
This program offers founders an accessible way to visualize and explore their entrepreneurial mindset and risk tolerance through the Canada Innovates platform, bringing access to live events, an online mentor network, and smart business tools to develop competencies needed to navigate the pathways of investment preparedness.
