I WIN’s Afghan Girls Empowerment Group is for refugee girls age 9 to 15 who require a survivor-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally safe approach to rebuilding their lives in Canada. The program aims to educate participants about their rights, independent thinking, perspectives and approaches to interpersonal relationships, boundaries, and consent.
