Second Story Women’s Centre, Lunenburg
This funding supports the need for an outreach counsellor at Second Story Women’s Centre, which offers support to women and gender-diverse people impacted by sexual assault and abusive relationships. It’s also one of many organizations collaborating to address the issue of young women being recruited for trafficking in rural Nova Scotia. The outreach counsellor will provide essential support and counselling, helping to fill gaps in mental health services.
